In Turkey's second small arms primer factory, established by Arca in the Sungurlu Organized Industrial Zone on an area of 1 million square meters, 1.2 billion small arms primers will be produced annually.

In the Sungurlu Organized Industrial Zone, Turkey's second small arms primer factory, established by Arca Defense on an area of 1 million square meters, will produce 1.2 billion small arms primers annually. Ismail Terlemez, Chairman of the Board of Arca Defense, stated that the construction of the factory, whose foundation was laid by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on August 13, 2022, was completed in a short period and it has started serial production. Ismail Terlemez noted that the factory, established on 1 million square meters in the OSB, has an annual production capacity of 1.2 billion small arms primers. He emphasized that currently, raw materials are sourced from various locations, and once the Gold Force Powder Factory established in Sungurlu OSB is fully operational, all raw materials will be sourced from there. Terlemez also pointed out that due to current agreements, all production is being sent abroad, but they are also capable of meeting domestic demand if it arises.

Emphasizing that all safety measures have been taken at the factory, Ismail Terlemez stated, “All production at the factory is automated, with only inspections conducted by personnel. Our machinery park consists entirely of new, state-of-the-art 2023 model machines. We are taking all the measures required by the laws.”
