Inspeciton the Construction of Small Arms Primer Factory

Behiç Akkaş, Chairman of Sungurlu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and his team inspected the construction site of the small arms primer factory established by ARCA in the OSB.

On August 13, the foundation of the small arms primer factory, which is part of a 6 billion defense industry investment, was laid with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan via teleconference, Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank, Deputy Minister of National Defense Muhsin Dere, Kaymakam Fatih Görmüş, and MKE AŞ General Manager Yasin Akdere. Work on the factory is progressing rapidly.

Behiç Akkaş, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vice Chairman Mehmet Arif Büyükyıldız, and board members Mehmet Ergül, İlhan Ambarkütükoğlu, and Osman Koca visited the OSB to inspect the construction area of the small arms primer factory established by Arca Savuma. After a sacrifice was made and prayers were offered at the foundation of the factory, Chairman Behiç Akkaş and the board members received information about the construction from company officials.

Behiç Akkaş stated that the defense industry investments, whose foundations have been laid in the OSB, are planned to be operational in the first half of the coming year and noted that the district will become a defense industry hub.

Akkaş explained that the OSB has become an attractive center thanks to the efforts and initiatives of our fellow citizen, Deputy Minister of National Defense Muhsin Dere, and that both local and foreign investors are increasingly coming to the region. He emphasized that the migration trend in the district will reverse and unemployment will end.
